Yuki no Mado — Tankyu Distillery's Signature Dry Gin
Yuki no Mado — "snow window" — is Tankyu Distillery's signature dry gin, named after the still quiet of snow gathering at our distillery windows in Higashikawa winter.
What's inside
- Mash water: Daisetsuzan spring water
- Base spirit: grain-based neutral spirit

Flavour shape
Juniper structure first, then the fresh lift of yuzu and citrus and the clean scent of Todomatsu fir, with a quiet depth of rice kōji beneath. Restrained in alcohol, with a long, clean finish that melts away like snow. Drink neat with a single ice cube, or in a tight 1:3 tonic — these are the serves where the place shows most clearly.
Where to find it
Available through our online shop, at the distillery during tours, and through select bars and retailers in Japan. See our spirits for full information.
