Thence Aperitif Spritz uses Tankyu's seasonal Hokkaido liqueur to make a light pre-dinner cocktail in the Italian-Japanese fusion style. Hokkaido seasonal botanicals open up in prosecco and ice.
Recipe
- Fill a large wine glass with ice
- 90ml prosecco (or any dry sparkling wine)
- 60ml Thence seasonal liqueur
- 30ml soda water
- Gently stir once
- Garnish with seasonal fruit slice (summer: orange wheel; autumn: pear; winter: apple)
Tips
- Wine glass — never highball — for the proper bouquet
- Prosecco-Thence-soda 3:2:1 is a Tankyu house ratio
- Best served at 6–8°C — slightly warmer than typical cocktails to let the liqueur botanicals release
